Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using MemberWise (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
The Service is operated by the platform administrator. These terms apply to all users, including group administrators and members.
2. Use of the Service
Access to the Service is by invitation only. You may only access the Service if you have been invited by a group administrator and have accepted that invitation.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when creating your account
- Keep your password secure and not share it with others
- Notify your group administrator immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- Use the Service only for its intended purpose — accessing knowledge and resources provided by your group
You agree not to:
- Attempt to access content or groups you have not been invited to
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload, post, or transmit content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the Service
3. Content
Content within each group is created and managed by that group's administrator. MemberWise does not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for the accuracy or appropriateness of group-specific content.
You understand that content may change or be removed at any time by the group administrator. The Service does not guarantee the availability or permanence of any content.
4. Demo group
The Service may include a publicly accessible demo group intended to showcase the platform to prospective users. The demo group is reset daily. Any content you add to the demo group will be permanently deleted during the next scheduled reset.
Do not enter any personal, sensitive, or confidential information into the demo group.
5. Account termination
Your group administrator may deactivate or remove your account at any time. The platform administrator reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked. Your email address and name may be retained for record-keeping purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Limitation of liability
MemberWise is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform administrator disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall the platform administrator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.
8. Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the “Last updated” date above when changes are made.
